Server2Go

During development, I tend to use a number of computers depending on where I am at the time. All of my files are usually kept on an external hard drive which makes switching computers quick and easy but testing has been the real issue. Usually I upload to a test environment on my server, but going over my download limit and Optus's inability to provide a stable/fast internet connection make this annoying at times.
I had used XAMPP in the past and wasn't a big fan. A quick Google search this time around came up with Server2Go by thaberkern. After downloading this over my frustratingly slow internet and double-clicking, I was ready to go. I can't believe how many hours I've waited for Dreamweaver while it says "Waiting for server..." when I didn't need to.
To make my life easier, I've also created a directory listing script that uses jQuery FileTree to quickly navigate your Server2Go. Download below and unzip into the Server2Go 'htdocs' folder.
